Hail Holy Queen,
Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope!
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve;

Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us,
and after this our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle, be our defense against the malice and wickeness of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do though, O Prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and the other evil spirits who prowl
about the world for the ruin of souls.
